Tour de Clarin: Czech Republic

LINDAT/CLARIN is designed as a Czech node of the CLARIN ERIC European research infrastructure. Tour de Clarin is a CLARIN ERIC initiative that aims to highlight user involvement activities of a particular CLARIN national consortium. During a stop in the Czech Republic, UDTreebank , a unique collection of multilingual text corpora was presented together with the UDPipe annotation tool. An interesting interview on the contribution of the CLARIN infrastructure for digitization in humanities was conducted with dr. Radim Hladík from the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

At the workshop on digital humanities, CLARIN met the DARIAH-CZ infrastructure that is waiting for Government approval to be funded and included in the Czech Large Infrastructures Roadmap.
