Big Science Business Forum 2020
The second edition of the ”Big Science Business Forum 2020” (BSBF2020) conference will be held in Granada, Spain, on 6th – 9th October 2020. The BSBF2020 conference offers an opportunity to learn about future investments and procurement of leading large scientific organisations in Europe. Some of the largest European research infrastructures will be represented on the occasion of event, such as F4E (European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the Development of Fusion Energy), CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research), EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory), ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facility), ESS (European Spallation Source), ESO (European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere), ESA (European Space Agency), ILL (Institute Laue-Langevin), European XFEL (European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility) and SKA (Square Kilometre Array). These organisations are called as “Big Science”, thanks to their budgets of € billions, spent on technology development, scientific instrumentation acquisition, services procurement, construction work, etc.
